Covered in class are teaching techniques that require approval and techniques that are never allowed by a paid professional. The student will not only learn about the rights of people with developmental disabilities but how to assist someone in expressing those rights. The class will also give the student tips on how to positively support someone when teaching a new skill. The student will learn about what a behavior plan is and why they are used. Ultimately, the learner will leave Article 9 class understanding that Article 9 in practice is about assisting another person in not only maintaining dignity but finding more of it.

I was almost a little worried it would genuinely take four hours to complete the class, after being used to it lasting only three and a half! I must say, it went by really quickly! Chris was very understanding when questions were asked, patient and very friendly! Thanks for working on Saturday!

The presenter did a great job so the 5 star review is for her.
However, I'm giving Google Meet 1-star. The connection was lost multiple times.
NOTE: Whenever the connection was lost, I would check internet connection on my laptop that was being used to take notes. At this point, I assume that my use of the Safari browser didn't want to play nice with Google.
