Covered in class are teaching techniques that require approval and techniques that are never allowed by a paid professional. The student will not only learn about the rights of people with developmental disabilities but how to assist someone in expressing those rights. The class will also give the student tips on how to positively support someone when teaching a new skill. The student will learn about what a behavior plan is and why they are used. Ultimately, the learner will leave Article 9 class understanding that Article 9 in practice is about assisting another person in not only maintaining dignity but finding more of it.

The presenter did a great job so the 5 star review is for her.
However, I'm giving Google Meet 1-star. The connection was lost multiple times.
NOTE: Whenever the connection was lost, I would check internet connection on my laptop that was being used to take notes. At this point, I assume that my use of the Safari browser didn't want to play nice with Google.

Chris Garcia was a great facilitator for this training. His experience and his passion are clearly demonstrated when he shared stories and experiences. He was very attentive to every participant and answered all questions.
My only suggestion would be to allow the participant to go back in and see which quiz question(s) were missed for our own knowledge!

I live in Las Vegas, NV and needed this class for the first time to work in AZ as a nurse. Chris is an amazing instructor! He keeps you engaged for 4 hours and gives the important info needed for the quiz for any first timer. I would recommend his course.
