Covered in class are teaching techniques that require approval and techniques that are never allowed by a paid professional. The student will not only learn about the rights of people with developmental disabilities but how to assist someone in expressing those rights. The class will also give the student tips on how to positively support someone when teaching a new skill. The student will learn about what a behavior plan is and why they are used. Ultimately, the learner will leave Article 9 class understanding that Article 9 in practice is about assisting another person in not only maintaining dignity but finding more of it.

I live in Las Vegas, NV and needed this class for the first time to work in AZ as a nurse. Chris is an amazing instructor! He keeps you engaged for 4 hours and gives the important info needed for the quiz for any first timer. I would recommend his course. Chris did a great job at delivering content. Flow is good with two 10 minute breaks. I recommend the online class for convenience without loosing a valuable experience.
