Very great and professional

I recently completed the Article 9 online course and had a great experience. The material was clear, well-organized, and easy to follow, even for someone taking it for the first time. The examples and explanations made the concepts simple to understand, and the course kept my attention the entire time. I appreciated being able to go at my own pace and still feel fully prepared by the end. Overall, it was convenient, informative, and definitely worth recommending to anyone who needs their Article 9 certification.

Great experience, very easy to grasp, and a great teacher

This class had very good statistics and was empowering in standing up for and with persons with disabilities. However afterwards, as a new direct support professional, being told that I would be working specifically in a day program, I went away feeling like the job I was going to be doing was a waste of time and felt reprimanded for hurting or mistreating persons with developmental disabilities, before I had even started the job. I honestly have felt like I've been not quite yelled at, but pretty close. I went away feeling confused. If day programs give individuals a chance to interact with others, a chance to have fun and do activities, why am I being told that it is a waste of time and that I could be, statistically, someone who will mistreat persons with disabilities? I just felt like the class could have gone without those things, and instead focused on empowering people who work in these programs and talking about the positives as much as all the negatives, but there was good information as far as history and statistics.

This is the second time i have taken this class with Chris. He's very informative and adds a little humor to the class. I like how he left the floor open for questions. It didn't feel like a long four hours with everything you learn. Chris was a very good instructor.

Very informative class even though I have taken this class each year I am reminded of something I forgot or situations have changed over the years with the support I provide. This class was very well reviewed and I love the examples. I loave the feedback from everyone in the class. I like everyone has chance to ask questions. Thank you.

Chris gave us an explanatory information about Article 9. We had time for Q/A and brief discussion if needed. Also, specific examples of scenarios were provided. I really enjoyed the course. This should be implemented in schools like a class, even for students. In this way we can instill the empathy needed for people with special needs. Thank you,
